Costco vs marco price database?

After reading another thread it occoured to me

is this possible
a price database for all the largest suppliers that moves as the prices change so we can all see at a glance which is cheapest........?

Not really, as Costco don't publish their prices, so you would have to go along in person note them all down and spend your time entering them into the Db - I'm not sure anyone has the time, let alone the inclination, to do that for gratis out of the goodness of their heart. People do post the offers when they can, so that helps.
They have changing stock as well - there are the usuals (eg soap powders etc) but a lot of stock is transient (eg clothing etc).

You can already do it for the supermarkets with https://www.mysupermarket.co.uk or something similar, which you put in your shopping and it tells you what it costs at each of your local supermarkets,
