Nice one L&C / Principality

Despite my earlier concerns about being able to get an interest only mortgage and recently having had some high c/card balances, I have just got a mortgage offer from Principality 8 days after making the application, so I am over the moon about that. L&C were the brokers (following this site's recommendations for a whole of market / no fee broker, and I have to say they have been very good.

Hope I haven't jinxed myself posting this!

We have put in an appication with principality but havent heard anything yet! yours seems to have gone through quickly so hope there isnt a problem (although cant think why there would be). They havent sent anyone to do a valuation yet so we wont be getting an offer yet. It has been similar time to yours. I may send an email today.

Mine was a remortgage, and I agreed to use their solicitors, so maybe that's why mine was fast?

Yes same here. I have sent the mortgage adviser at principality an email to check that they have received everything required in the post etc and to let me know if they need any further information. At least I will know that they have got the application and documentation.

They appear to have had some changes to their operations,I have had to prod them to get results!! Confused l&c werent offering the principality mortgage,so I went direct.
