Morning All,
I fancy making a treacle sponge, has anyone get a fool proof plan?
Only ones i can find are ones that need steaming, ideally, i want to just stick it in the oven! :rotfl:
Thanks in advance,

I have done them in the slowcooker, just make up the mixture, put some golden syrup/treacle on the bottom of a pudding basin, add the mixture, put foil on top, put the basin the slowcooker, pour in boilling water to come half way up the side of the bowl, leave to cook for itself - a couple of hours I think. Make Christmas pudding the same way and this always comes out well.0
