Why ? if you earn €500k per year, are you asking questions from Germany on MSE, either its a credit to MSE or a wind up from someone who posts regularly on the board.

Firstly, you would have advisors available to you, throughout your day probably, and earning 500k per annum and not even being able to spend it wouldnt exactly be a 'plunge' to see a financial advisor, the biggest problem would be thinking about WHO to see, in WHAT country, and HOW to invest and WHAT currency. In fact, to be earning that much money and not already doing that shows some naivity that I wouldn't expect from a high earner.
