Very good day after a bad week

We booked the church 3 weeks ago and rang my first choice venue who said they were available on that date and put me down for a provisional booking and when i rang them to sort details out they said oh sorry we made a mistake someone else booked that date months ago.:mad:

By that time i had asked my bridesmaids if they would like to be bridesmaids and they said yes my second venue choice was also unavailable and there is nowhere else we wanted the reception so i rang the vicar and he changed to to the week after when my venue is also available. But my b/maids are away on that week so im only having 4 now.

I was feeling really down because i have known them for years and im really gonna hate telling them as they are only 10 and 14 and it would have been their first time.

Im very happy though because i have just brought my dream dress brand new from ebay for £64.99, i cant believe it.

So im feeling happier about things now and cant wait to get my dress.

Your dress is lovely. That's a bit of a dilemma with the church/venue/bridesmaid availability. Is there anyway you could go one week later or earlier so there are no clashes?

No its not possible hayley the reception venue is booked till the end of november. It was a really hard decision to make but our dream venue won in the end. we did look at other places but they are nothing special just pubs/tiny function rooms and we wanted somewhere with gardens.
