Door callers question

Can't stand the likes of Provident - leeches sucking the poor and vunerable. Just like any other loan company, send them a letter outlining your repayment plan based on how much you can afford to pay them each week, ~~I know many who pay them a token £1 per week and although they are not too pleased with this they will accept it if its all you can afford. Unlike may other companies Provident are unlikely to take action such as court etc..with regards to meeting the manager - that's up to you, personally I would just send them a letter rather than waste my time.0

all their staff are self employed collectors, all a manager is someone that looks after them. just write to them no need for a meeting0

Hi, my sister provident around £900, ended up going to them as she had a crap credit history and no-one else would lend to her, anyway she never missed paying them until recently, then she lost her job and the rest continued and she was unable to meet her weekly payment, she just sent them in a letter explaining the situation knocking her £45 p/w payment down to £5, they were not happy but she put on the the letter that the situation was tempoary until she got back into work, she is now paying still weekly but at the rate of £5, I agree with the other replies, dont waste your time with the manager, just put your situation down in writing, they wont take court action even if you only paid them a £1 each week, good luck0

Hi all i have a loan door caller, provident, ive not been able to make there suggested payments, but have made one everytime.I had there head manager call me for a meeting and suggested a lower rate ? does anyone know about this, before i sign any thing etc.
It may be that he wants to offer you a waiver agreement. So rather than reporting to the CRA's that you are not paying your contractual payments and your account going further into arrears, you would be shown as paying a reduced but agreed repayment. It costs you nothing to phone and ask the purpose of the meeting.
For clarity I am a Provident employee.I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0
