No, of course not. But going to enjoy each and every thread charting their downfall. It's a classic rags to riches, and back again story - plus the bonus of being a symbol of the ridiculous HPI years - InsideTrack, Bovey, Wilsons, etc.

What I don't understand is people who have no interest coming on every Wilson thread saying they are not interested.

I am not interested in spewing hatred towards people who are in a financial mess.

I am interested in helping people and socialising.

'We have spoken to all our lenders, and we have decided to enter management agreements. It is the only way for us to be able to retire. I don't want to be rung up every day by someone complaining about a dripping tap.'

Is that the business plan failed then?

His aim was always to sell all the assets off, and retire on the profit. But now is saying the only way to retire is to keep the assets and get a management company in.

If you cannot get out of something you have started, with the intent to be out by a certain date, surely that in itself is a failiure?

OK my friend, I spoke out of turn. I must confess to a professional interest in the Wilsons. Since reading their original story I too have invested quite heavily in BTL, holding them in a number of limited companies. I have been fortunate to start with a large inheritance, but through HPI I have managed to quadruple that money in a period of a few years. My property is a mixture of mortgage free through to heavily negative equity in order to maximise my tax free income, a large amount of which is channelled through offshore funds. My dependents are set up for life, and I have already set up trusts for my children who will not have to work. Nor their children either. Or their children.

Quite what I am doing on here 24/7 I can't fully explain, although I do like to give something back to the community.
