Finally debt free - but worried about slipping back into old habits!

  • Hi

    Well done you!

I would get rid of the credit card - it really alters how you thinkof things doesn't it. Since my LB I only use my debit card - therefore if Im in sainsburys and really want to keep throwng things in my trolly (a real problem...) then that amount affects what I have for the rest of the month. With my credit card i'm afraid I just think its something I don't have to worry about till another time - thats my problem and I now know what I need to do about it...

Please if you are debt free do not slide down that slippery slope again... Take cash or start saving onto another account that you can use.
