I'd like to have some training on how to read to children. I just want to learn some tips and techniques to make the experience more fun, interesting and enjoyable for children.
Any ideas of where I can go for that (in Central Scotland)?

Here are some tips from the Literacy Trust:

If you want a live demo, see if your local library does children's sessions where the librarian shares books with a group.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
You could try the story telling centre .The head office is edinburgh but they have places all over scotland. People meet up and swap storytelling techinques etc.
They are really good and you soon learn what a fantastic art storytelling is.0 -
