The movie consists of sound and vision, as they normally do. So if you're deaf you won't hear anything and if you're blind you won't see anything.
Just noticed you're a footabll supporter.:rotfl:0 -
Yes, absolutely.
I found 'Money as debt' to be the most educating short film about money.
The fact of the matter happens to be that money is created as debt by banks whenever a new loan contract is signed.
The money supply is 97% debt.
We are absolutely dependent on bank lending: without it the entire financial system would collapse.0 -

yep, 'fraid so. It's the whole point of central banks, privately owned cartels of financiers with the job of managing inflation expectations. Money is created when you take out a loan, the interest on the collective global debt can only be paid back by issuing more debt. It's mathematically inevitable that eventually the interest on the global debt won't be serviceable (we're at that point now) and the whole house of cards starts to shake itself to destruction.
Default (debt jubilee) or devaluation (money printing leading to high inflation meaning rising food, energy and commodity prices), they're the only two options available to governments. Oh, and then war.
I'm betting (literally) on devaluation.0 -
