Hello All,
I have largeish Pork joint in the freezer i plan on cooking today & making it into diff things..
How would you cook this? Is there any great ways to cook rather than just roast?
Would you cut into 3 & do each bit different? roast, fajitas etc?
We like all flavours, open to suggestions..just 2 adults.
Thanks

What type of joint is it? I've recently done a couple of variations on slow roasted pork, which gives wonderfully moist meat, but that only works with fattier joints like shoulder or belly, I think.
Personally, what I tend to do is cook the joint in one piece then use the cooked meat to make things like fajitas, but I suppose it depends on how big the joint is and what cut it is. Leftover roast pork is particularly good in a Thai-style curry sauce, imo, so maybe you could try that with one of your pieces?Back after a very long break!0 -
Do you have a slow cooker? pork is especially tender after slow cooking. If i tend to have a large joint i will cook it first and then add to seperate recipes to freeze etc xI will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!
Total £560
