Where about do you stay? I use Metro which is on Lower Granton Road. They are excellent and very cheap. Think its £35 or less. Twice my car had failed an mot and they have fixed it, and then passed it for no extra cost xx

That is nothing special, under those circumstances they are not allowed to charge a re-test fee.
