Not sure if it will exist but Sketchers who seem to imitate fitflop boots and MBT shoes did an imitation fitflop last year, they were about 30% cheaper I think (not sure), they don't have any online at the moment but I'd imagine they'd bring out a range later on in the year. This is the website link:

And here is a few pictures of what they did last year:

Yup, and I'd say the same goes for 95% of the fashion we see. But its not just the manufacturing we are paying for, its the designers fee, its the advertising, its the selling/marketing..... And then theres the markup so the company can bring out more designs and styles and grow as a company.
Don't get me wrong, the big fatcat businessman/women at the top of the chain is obviously making the largest amoung of money here, probably being paid back draginsden styleee fees for "believeing" in the company to start with, but such is life and the way things work in business. The best thing I think to do to get around the cost is to look for a discount code rather then taking on the company and trying to find a cheaper version anjd risk the quality.
Good luck with your search though:)0 -

Last summer I went to a Pavers outlet shop and saw some lovely black sequinned flip flops. They were about £20 and I bought them because they were so comfy.
People kept saying "I love your Fitflops" and I hadn't got a clue what they were on about. Anyway, I did my homework and found out that they are indeed almost identical to the Fitflop Electra but a whole lot cheaper.
I wore them constantly right through until about October and they are as good as new still. I'm certain they helped to keep my legs toned.
Might be worth a look at Pavers this year.0 -
I actually got round to ordering them yesterday. Postage free (if not in a hurry) so I get three pairs of these for the same price as one pair of fitflops. Bargain, and I prefer the look of them too!I got an email from Buy Cosmetics today about a cheaper sort of Fitflop - TrimSoles - don't know if these would be what you are looking for? £19.95 a pair or three pairs for £49.95.
