Thank you for your continued advice.
I am going to ring National Debt Helpline today and chase up the CASHFLOW thing they talked about. I feel like i can live within a budget but the debt needs to be put in some order first.
Secondly, regarding the IVA - i am in a secure job and would be able to repay a set amount over the time period. In terms of Japan - the answer would be the same i think.
Phone contract has a LOOOOOONG time to go. However, i may ring them and explain my situation and see if they can offer me a cheaper tariff with a different phone but remain in contract with them.

I believe that even if national Debt helpline is not fee-charging, it refers you to related companies that charge fees.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
