Hi all, have been having a small break, ;o) sorting priorities etc I suppose. Getting the important list stuff done before joining in the dribbling (for once :o) ...

And having a bit of a nightmarish time over last week as had some things stolen from me and am really sort of annoyed about it. Insurance should sort it all out etc ... but rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr so annoying. Least none of us are stooping to such low down ways of making money .... makes me SOOO angry ... the whole invasion of your personal space thing I think. That some strange person has been in your space...

Anyway, will have to update the total, have hit about 850 so far, aiming for 1200 by end of March.

OMG a girl I haven't spoken to in years has just added me on Facebook. turns out shes seeing one of my good friends, wow small world.
  • Just had a strange one, relisted 15 boxes of the books to clear room, (yes have already scouted through them), they end today and have just had a question asking how much it will cost to ship to Malta! Considering they will have to go on a pallet, told him not to bother bidding!

Mabel- its not just the buy it nows, people sit there watching until the last minute, then place a bid, then you have to wait a week before they pay.

Suppose I'd better get on with listing.........:(

Zoe - get yourself a dog, noone will rob you then, they don't want to risk it! Hope you get everything sorted though, bless x

    Thanks

In my pile of books I have this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CREATIVE-KNITTING-FOLDER-FULL-OF-PATTERNS_W0QQitemZ270536362402QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Crafts_Knitting_Crochet_EH?hash=item3efd3949a2 do you think it would be better to separate and sell individually? Postage is a big one as it is heavy. Sorry to ask but needing advice!

I would sell - perhaps as a job lot (or several job lots) - so photograph all patterns laying on a table or the floor etc (loads of ebay sellers do that) but be aware you may be letting each sale go at 99p! But this gives buyers an idea of what's in the job lot and they are more likely to bid.
It depends on how many patterns are there in total - to sell seperately is labour intensive (this is what I mainly sell on Ebay)- scanning in or photgraphing each pattern, then describing it with sizes and yarn requirements takes a long while and then you have to pack each one and take to PO and all for about 99p each! (I charge £1 each pattern for postage).

Jane130 - was meant to say earlier if you need help of advice re web design always happy to help.
Zoe - sorry to hear about the burglary that's horrible x

Other than that, just don't know what is up with me today. Sent off the interview and I just feel the confidence draining out of me. I should feel really excited but I just suddenly feel all teary. Just don't know why my eyes are leaking. I should feel proud of myself - but, it suddenly all feels really scary. I guess I don't want to fail and I am just overthinking things and worrying. I feel so silly, but just can't help myself.

Hugs Dilli - you've invested a lot in this practically and emotionally. you're body and mind need to adjust for it. let the feelings happen and they'll pass. Be amazed how our minds and bodies know what we need and let it do its job.
