Lol, a total mess at the moment!! But just playing with fur fabric to see if I have any kind of previously unsuspected gift for making things. I somehow doubt it, but you never know!

  • I'm not doing anything. At all. OH is playing Fat Princess, which is really funny and very distracting, and I'm feeling a bit rubbish but I've just taken my tablets so it should pick up soon.
Got...four (I think) orders due tomorrow. One has been dispatched, one has just now been changed to processing, so that might be late. Hopefully by the end of this week, though...one was dispatched by USPS yesterday, I think thats 4 - 5 business days but they said I'd have it by Thursday.

This was just a mumble to myself really, lol!

Edit: Night everyone :) Sweet dreams!

He's feeding her cake at the moment, to make her too fat to move, and she waddles. It is hilarious. Not at all productive, but so, so funny!

Well I succumbed and went digging for watercolour paper and paints. Need to sort out the jumble as it took me forever to find a box of watercolours and I know I have another little paint box and a tin full of tubes of paint somewhere. Actually I really do need to find that to see if I have the colours I need to play along with the watercolour course on Friday as there are some practical bits in it. (Note to self, find tin of watercolours....) Anyway, I kinda like it so far. The idea is that you do a collagey, watercoloury thing and then machine stitch it, so instead of a paint and ink piece you have a paint and stitching piece. It will take a bit of work to get it right, but it's fun. If I end up lending the lead to munchki then I'll hand stitch maybe, or just defer doing much more till the lead comes home again. That wouldn't be a problem as I have two more new things I want to try out which both look just as much fun!

Dunno why I'm doing this, as I'm unlikely to create anything saleable, but sometimes other ideas come from playing randomly with craft stuff, so you never know. Actually, if I did small pieces like this they'd make nice cards....hmmmm.... maybe something saleable could come out of it after all.....

Right, off to bed or I'll be useless in the morning. Hopefully will sleep better as I had one heck of a nightmare last night. Should have had a notebook (one of Saucy's of course) by the bed as it would have made a very weird story.

Ooooh!!! Saucy!!! Dream journals!!! Betcha people would buy them!!!

    Night Muncki!

2Cats that sounds fun...I'd love to have a sewing machine. Used to do sewing at school, they wouldn't believe that I couldn't do it (all girls school, so very traditional) until I stitched my finger to the fabric and had to go to hospital...Not as funny as when a girl in my class stapled her finger to the desk because she didn't want to do a maths test though! Twas funny!

I hope you sleep much better tonight, and thank you for the idea, I'm gonna design one now :D

Edit: Wow, I killed the thread! I'm off to bed now...got some more designs drawn, and if everything goes well and my parcels come tomorrow, I'll have everything I need to make lots of notebooks! Feeling happy about that. Wrote a lot of articles tonight, got 3 left, which are very boring so I'm struggling. Still, didn't do badly!

Had a shower which lessened the pain a bit, and am now awake purely due to painkillers and OH still being awake, I can't sleep without him and wake when he does, so I hope he isn't up too early.

Night everyone. Hope you are all having lovely dreams :) x

  • Jo, I have to say I am quite shocked that there is no twighlight hour dribbling too!

God knows quite how I did this but I was up at 4.15am this morning tried to get back to sleep but that did no good as I found my mind was buzzing. I am going to have to get into the habit of keeping a notebook by my bed to catch my ideas. Did a double hypnosis session too (Thanks Mr McKenna).

And I am getting my action planning togther - I decided I am going to do a 6 month marketing strategy for all websites and projects that I am working on because I seem to be doing lots of random things at the moment rather than one solid sweeping plan.

Quite happy with website traffic although for some reason the SEO for my website is taking it's sweet time to work. I typed in the full url and the heading is a bit weirdy at the moment but... onwards.

Also budget juggling I am trying to decide what a reasonable outlay would be for my advertising. I am a bit torn as I don't want to waste too much money... decisions, decisions.

Other than that hope everyone has a money making day!
