Saucy, notebook is soo pretty.
Amber, your website is fab, really impressed.
Money, love your jewellery, want to buy it!
I have put my first blog attempt in as my homepage, its one about my books. I have only put in one post so far, added adsense + links to my barefoot site. Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated - I am new to blogging, so don't expect too much . . .
Back later, DD has to be taken from the first activity of the evening to the next - and, even worse, its one where I have to stay and help! Professional mummy, I am.
xx all
Thanks Truly-I'll check out your blog in a mo :-)
Well done Saucy on the NOTHS stuff thats brilliant!! make sure you take into account your time when pricing thats the most important thing. I work mine out at £6 per hour but then there are some pieces that take weeks so thats not really viable but thats a rough guide e.g a pair of earrings that takes 15 minutes would be £1.50 labour + materials x2 thats the way I was told to work it out by a lot of people on the About.com jewellery forums. Then if I sell through shops on sale or return they get 40% of that amount or if they buy wholesale they pay 50% of retail price.0 -
what an interesting couple of hours I have had this afternoon!
Started out with getting the interview for tuesday arranged
Then got a call out of the blue form a chap that I had bid on people per hour and had a very long conversation with him and we are meeting up late monday afternoon as after speaking to him about things it would appear it has taken a bit of a twist in a different direction, all good tho. Then I checked my job email addy and found that I had been invited to another interview on friday next week, I have emailed him back to see if possible to move the interview forward to tuesday as it is nearly next door to the first one!! What is funny about the last interview is it is for a company that I convinced my old boss to do business with! The person that I spoke to while doing all the negotiation is the same person that invited me to interview, a bit spooky lol but he and I got on very well. Even if I did negotiate the contract lol and saved money on it! The job is only for 6 months but does say that it could be made permanent!
All in all, not a bad day things considered.
Have just packed my bag and have decided that you are all right and that I should still go up for the weekend. so leaving here about 7am and should put me there just after lunch. Found out that I am going to have a jewelery making lesson as well woohoo! Was also told there was plenty of red wine waiting for me and lots of hugsawwwwww. Really really cant afford to do this, but it is just the petrol and it might help me to clear my head. Sounds like next week is going to be an interesting one to say the least.
Ok, I have dribbled far far too much, sowwy!!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

Saucy - your notebook is gorgeous! My friend bought me a notebook for my birthday which i am using and LOVING and it's not nearly as pretty as yours. Does it have a perspex front cover? It's lovely whichever.
And yay fro Munchki.
I am going on 4 hours sleep so may not make much sense today0 -

Yep the front and back covers are perspex, and decorated with gems. I like it a bit more now...
Reminds me of at nursery when a woman bought her newborn twins in, and we looked after them for a day. When she came back she asked which had been better, and we said the boy, and she replied "The girl has always been my favourite but I might change my mind now" :rotfl: Did make me laugh but I felt sorry for the boy too, lol.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0
