Soap pods

Hi
Does any-one konw the best place to get a big load of soap pods for a good price?

The shop I usually use only gives me a 200g for about £5 and I'm sure I can do better :)

Thanks

if your willing to buy in bulk you can bring the prices way down

There is a firm called Suma who will supply to the public if your order is £250 + vat, this includes free delivery to most fo the UK

You can buy soap pods in larger bags too - Im sure there is a 1kg bag.
We used to buy ours from Alt Stores but im sure they have just stopped doing them.

Thanks Gibby. It's just me so, although I'm sure I could find years worth of Suma supplies for £250 :D, paying for and storing it in the short term might prove a problem! ;)

If I find anywhere that does 1kg bags, I'll let you know :)

you can get it trade elsewhere but they will charge you for delivery unless you can piggy back on someone elses order.
Lots of little buying coops are starting up in the UK to get costs down on ethical, organic & fair trade goods.

Excellent, thanks. I'll look into it. There's bound to be a few in and around the Glasgow area then!

Never occurred to me - which is bizarre as it's usually the first place I look for things! Cheers!

Found this site http://www.summernaturals.co.uk/ (Think it was mentioned on another thread here.) Got 1kg of soap nuts, 5litres of vinegar and 5kg of bicarb on their way! Hopefull that'll last me quite some time :D

  • Remember and look for soap nuts. Soap pods seems more of a brand name for (probably)the same thing.

Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!
