If you have things you dont want and are considering throwing out give them to someone who can make use of them . Also you can take items people have posted up , just find your local freecycle group and join as a member .

As much as many of already are avid freecyclers I'm sure, thankyou for re-posting this. Many times I would not have found out about things unless they had been re-posted (u can't serach for it if you've never heard of it!). So thankyou

Actually I think you'll find that it's freecycle that is American, and that freegle is a British response - but as Kurgon says, look at the existing threads for more info:
