we currently have car finance with 2 years to go £178 a month and a loan with 2 1/2 yearsto go 100 a month, also 1000 on catalogues, we wanted to get a loan to consolodate all these plus a little extra to pay for my wife's driving lessons, so we have worked out we need to borrow about £7500, we dont have a perfect credit score, so any suggestions would be great

You already have over £8,000 worth of debt.
You give no clue as to your earnings, outgoings etc so nobody can give you anything like accurate advice.
Guessing is the order of the day....
If you are buying from catalogues and do not have perfect credit scores, then its a fair guess you are not high earners.
No lender can be certain you will clear your existing debts so if you ask for £7.5k they will likely add that to your existing £8k bringing your total debt to over £15k
With a less than perfect credit history servicing an £8k debt, it would be highly unlikely anyone respectable lender is going to offer you even more.0 -
Without knowing all your information, I would say please have a rethink about this. There is a credit crunch going on, people are losing jobs, companies are not giving credit anything like they once did. Interest rates could rise, inflation is already happening, making groceries more expensive.
You need to be thinking about making overpayments and clearing the debt, rather than borrowing more money.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
