Hello,
I'm sure others have been in the position that I find myself in and would appreciate some advice please.
I have come out of a long term relationship and am trying to adjust to going from two salaries to one salary. My partner has bought me out of the house and I've moved to a different part of the country and am living with my parents whilst I look to buy a new property.
I'm nervous of overstretching myself on mortgage payments when realistically I dont know what my other outgoings, such as utility bills etc, would come to as I'm living in an artificial situation at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can plan (or estimate) a budget for the future so I'll know how much I can afford to spend on mortgage payments?
Many thanks in advance

Start with the bills when you were living in a house,
Talk to your parents about their bills and what they think.0
