Over 60 benefits

Please could anyone advise what benefits are available to people over 60 I hear rumours that heating allowances are available etc but if anyone could advise of all available benifits for over 60 it would be appreciated

Is she still employed - if so, she won't have to pay NI contributions. If she lives in London, she'll get her wonderful freedom travel pass, so she never has to pay tube or bus fares ever again (or until they change the rules). If she defers taking her state pension, she will have to claim her winter fuel payments all over again - they won't be paid automatically.0
