How loose should a...

Bracelet be? How many fingers should it be between the bracelet and wrist?

I have a new one and its about two fingers wide from wrist, wondering if its too loose?

  • Don't think there are any rules Vikki, as long as it's comfortable and not going to fall off.
  • I would probs say one finger wide but then my fingers aren't thin and bony! What do you reckon it looks like and how does it feel?

Its my first gold bracelet so I don't know if its me or not but it feels quite big and loose. But just wondering if its me and it should be like this? Perhaps i'll get used to it.

above is what it looks like. I am just worried it could break easier being longer?
  • Looking at that it does seem a bit loose to me...is it an expensive bracelet? Can you get a link taken off it?

Its quite hard to get the right picture. It was £110, down to £55. I was thinking of getting one of the links taken out if thats possible? Which should be? Its from H samuel, so presume thats chargeable? Not sure how many need to be taken out as, when I move a few links out it looks odd.

I can also take it off be pushing it over my hand without even undoing it.

I lost mine recently because of this, get a link or two removed.

I agree, not worth risking losing it :)

Just don't make it TOO tight. I broke mine and the easy way to mend it was to lose a couple of links, it's now difficult for me to take it off and put it on again, I always need help.
