Apparently, there's a limit to how many you can send in a day (30, I belive, but don't quote me), but I've never reached it. It can get congested if you're trying to send texts back-to-back. Just be patient -- they do, truthfully, tell you how long the wait will be -- and you'll be able to send another.

The good thing about this service is that there's no software to download, like with others. The downside is that they stick a stupid ad at the end of it. You'll also have to identify yourself at the beginning of the text, losing some of 137 characters allocated for your text. Another thing: the text can take some time (a few hours was the worst case) to get to the recipient.

That being said, I use the service all the time.

i use http://www.boltblue.com/ you need to register but the texts get recieved instantly so its quite reliable.

Have you entered the number correctly? you need to use the international code, (447952****** ),not 07952****** without spaces.

I had entered it correctly but still didnt get anything thru, suddenly realised id not had any txt's for days so rang virgin and they sorted it for me me, them my bloody phone never stopped going off as days worths came thru....lol

so yeah it does work fine :j
