we are remortgaging to a lower interest rate from accord to ING but as its such early days in the procedure we don't know what to expect next.

If you want to remortgage, you need the whole process to be as simple as possible. With this in mind, remortgaging to ING Direct has been designed to save you time and effort.

There are no valuation fees, plus when you apply to remortgage we will instruct our specialist conveyancing service to carry out the necessary legal work in order to transfer your mortgage to ING Direct. By using our specialist conveyancers there are no additional fees to pay for the standard legal service. However if you need additional legal work such as:
    • adding or removing borrowers to the title deeds
    • requiring additional searches
    • your property is not registered with HM Land Registry
    • leasehold questionnaires
or any other non-standard work needed to put your title deeds in order this will result in costs which you will need to pay the conveyancer directly before the mortgage completes.
If your mortgage application requires any non-standard work where a fee needs to be paid you will be contacted by the conveyancer before any costs are incurred.

Just give them a call and if you're anxious call them every so often for an update...waste of time asking lenders to call you....but all the work goes on in the background ie conveyancing which is dealt with by the eagle beagles.
