Alcohol hand gel

I just want some to use as fuel ('fire paste') for my table top heater so the less additives the better. Its clean burning and much better than those tea candles. Tesco sell it for 49p/100ml but I bet there are cheaper sources out there. T J Hughes sell 350ml for just 1.29p but it has vitamin E and moisturiser.

Don't buy any as antibacterial products in everyday life are fundementally responsible for the rise of super bugs and infections.

Tea tree oil is a cheaper (and natural) alternative. You can get it from many health food stores and also from the body shop (if you want to pay the extra)

alcohol gels don't clean visibly dirty hands, what they do is kill the bacteria that grows on your hands naturally, plus a few you might have picked up along the way. But you're right, it's no substitute for washing your hands regularly. I keep it around for when I'm out and about and there may be no soap as it's better than not using anything at all in my opinion.

As for somewhere to get cheap stuff, try the pound shops.
