improving my credit rating

please can someone advise me on the best people to get my credit rating report from so i can start the ball rolling before getting a mortgage, greatly appreciated thankyou x

Exuifax and Experian are two, theres one more? It will cost you £2.00 each

Dont make the mistake of thiniking a excellent credit rating is key to getting a mortgage, me and my wife both have excellent scores but got knocked back several times before the halifax took us, turns out having two mortgages in a year, wife moving to a better job and maybe putting a car on credit is the main cause. Company an with currently would not even let me port my mortgage. Anyway i got my report from both experian and equifax.

Never heard of them, done a quick search and found out some info, anyway i got my mortgage now but will remeber them for next time, dont you think its very unfair to have more than one credit agency?
