Double refund question

I sent something back to an online store, I checked their site to see if it had been received, and it was showing up twice. I emailed them and told them I'd only sent one thing back, and got quite a curt, verging on rude reply, saying that I would only be paid once.
Anyway, the refund finally came through and they did refund me twice, it was the correct amount (nearly £150) but two payments. I emailed them again and said they have refunded me twice, but got no reply (just the automated thing saying they had received it). This was over 3 weeks ago now.
I tried calling them but I just ended up on hold to a premium rate number with a message telling me it was better to contact them through the website.
So what do I do now? Am I obliged to keep chasing them to try and give them their money back? How long have they got to claim it back? Can they just take it back off my debit card, or will they have to warn me first? I've moved it into my savings account, so I don't spend it accidentally, but if they just take it back without warning it'll send me overdrawn.

Keep hold of it of course, keep proof you contacted them to advise them ect and their emails to you.
Im not sure how long you should wait, but really it's not your money so I would drop them an email again quickly... Just don't bother phoning them and wasting your own time and money chasing after them.
If they don't come back to you after personally I would forget about them.
Maybe say to them that if you dont get a response within x amount of time (say a week or 2) you will assume they do not want the money and that they want you to keep it.0 -
I think you have done more than most people would. I would keep the money in savings and the proof you have tried to contact them and leave it at that. After a few months it would be unlikely that they would be able to collect it. They are obviously not very customer focussed.0

keep the money and wait and see if they ask for it,if they do bill them for the cost of premium rate tele calls and the time you spent.0

Thanks for all the advice. I would still really like to know if there is a legal time limit when I can consider the money to be 'mine'.
I can't believe I am in such a stupid situation :-\0
