Will this food be ok?

Ive just had a clean out of my freezer and found what looks like thin bits of steak which has been in a carrier bag sealed for about 8 months and soem chicken portions, also sealed, for about 5months

Will these be ok to keep?

I hate throwing food away but obviously dont want to poison us all!!

They will be perfectly fine unless your freezer has defrosted since you bought them.

Food keeps in a freezer for ages the only thing is that the texture and taste might have degraded a little but just add plenty of spices/marinade or slo cook the meat.
