something as changed!!! i havent changed the bread maker, flour, yeast, anything but my bread has started, more often than not, to come out rubbery. i know it sounds strange, but it is heavy, rubbery and actually feels dampy to the touch. toasts wonderfully but it isnt right and i dont know whats causing this.
i weigh all the ingrediants very carefully and i am using what the receipt says.
advice please.

Believe it or not if the weather is damp it affects the bread dough - do you actually bake the bread in th BM or just use it to mix the dough? - I do the latter and it works much better than baking in the BMBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Do you take it out of the machine when it has finished baking or do what I sometimes do and leave it in there a while? If you do then it will absorb the condensation making it feel a bit damp. Still tastes nice though !Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
