Foam Roses are Good!

Just wanted to say that I've just received a foam rose buttonhole as a sample from kayloublue on ebay, and it's beautiful! It came beautifully presented from the wrapping paper to the box, and the first ting I did when I took it out was touch the petals as it looked so real!
The only thing that makes it look fake is the leaves as they're a bit shiny but I can definitely live with that for £1.50 per buttonhole! I'm definitely gonna order all my flowers, buttonholes and corsages from her - I think my bouquet will cost about £30 - a dome of white roses.
She's been very patient with me - I've been emailing her with questions on and off since Oct! - and the sample was sent very promptly.
Will be ordering once I've double checked the colour against my dress (trying it on today - eeek!) but so far, I'm very happy with all aspects of the foam rose over real decision! Just wanted to share!

I had foam roses in light pink for my wedding off ebay and they were perfect and looked it on the pictures too

Yes! It was your posts that I read about her I think! You posted the pics of your bouquet and they looked amazing... Didn't realise just how cheap she was though - it's a brilliant discovery! Thank you!:T

I have perfect white foam roses from Hobbycraft and floristsuppliesdirect.com, I'm fully in agreement over how real they look. Have done the two BMs bouquets as mini rose-domes (6 roses in each with leaves) and they look spectacular...plus they have a total cost of about 3 quid!

I got some mini foam roses to do my centre pieces with and they look so real, apart from being mini of course! Also means I can tweak them as mch as I want withot having to keep going out and buying real flowers. It cost under £30 for 10 packs with about 6 bunches in each pack.

Thanks so much for this post. I have been wondering about foam roses but haven't been able to find any first hand experiences.

I'm planning on using these too but was thinking of maybe using real greenery as I have lots of ivy and stuff like it in the garden. It is only an idea though and I could be easily talked out of it.

Incidentally is it only foam roses that look so realistic or are other foam flowers available that are also good?

Yep, totally agree. I ordered the buttonhole package from Kayloublue and have now just ordered all of my wedding flowers from her. Can't rate her highly enough - nothing is too much trouble and her emails are so fast in response to any queries. The foam roses are fab, by the way, possibly smaller than certain real roses and the leaves are a giveaway ( a bit too regularly sized, if you are fussy) - but who will be looking that closely?
