You are subscribed to this thread Incorrect DOB on a default in my Credit File

Hi all. Just been clearing up my credit file and sucessfully removed an incorrect default from Barclayard. All it took was a phone call every day and after 4 days it was gone!! Just one default remaining from British Credit Trust, This default is satisfied in full and is due to come off 16 March 2010. However upon closer inspection it has a wrong date of birth on it. Do I have any rights to get it removed quicker like say ASAP? Its the same incorrect DOB on my Experian and Equifax. So that suggests to me that it was a mistake made by BCT. I mean can the credit ref agencies put the default on someones file even if the DOB is wrong? I'm also worried because of this error it might delay or prevent the automatic removal after 6 years. Any legal brains out there with any ideas?? Many thanks in advance.
