what OS stuff can i use to celan my over and grill pan

Ok - im embarassed to say that my oven and grill pan look like something out of 'how clean is your house' and finally plucked up the courage to clean them -Has anyone got any tips on what to use to get them like new again? (besides elbow grease)

Scrape out the nasties from the grill pan into newspaper and sling in the bin. Leave to soak overnight in boiling water with a scoop of bio washing powder chucked in it. Should be much easier to deal with in the morning.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

i used to use Mr *ucle, and that didn't really work. i tried neat washing up liquid and was a bit more successful. Now i squirt stardrops all over it, leave for a bit, pour boiling water over it, and a wipe with a sponge scourer finsishes it off without any real elbow greese at all. good luck!Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23.
