Anyone had any success with this type of approach to try and get defaults removed ? Any advice ?Debt at worst point = £8100 Debt now = £9560

From what I have read it seems that sometimes catalogues/phone companies etc will agree to remove defaults to get the debt paid (not often but occasionally). It seems to be that this is even less likely if the debt is with a bank.
Also if your debt/default is still in the name of RBS then it may well be that westcot don't have the ability to remove it. If the debt is showing on your credit file under westcots name then they might have the ability to remove it.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Hi, how did you make an offer, did you use a template for a letter? I need to do the same and not sure what to put in the letter.0 -
