After 5 years of paying CSA payments it over...last payment made today.
5 years of me paying and the csa computers saying no payment made..
5 years of me over paying and CSA computers not recognise my overpayments
5 years of ex-wife stating I was earning more and asking for a review of my accounts, however when I asked for a review as I was paying 76% of my income, was told NO.
Setting myself up as self-employed was given 6 months off paying... I still paid a lower amount
However after 6 months was up the CSA back date a new clamed 5 months still at 76% a high estimate of my income.. £682 per week.. ouch
IT OVER NOW

laughing aside, I would be interested if you have a better relationship with your children now that the mess has been taken out of the equation:)0 -
Congratulations
But a word of warning. Keep all paperwork. The CSA might raise their ugly head again.0 -

Relationship with my children,,,, at first it was good stopping with me weekends, weeks away, I was paying ex money each month all was well. then out the blue csa called me ( why i was paying ), however it happens.
Found out because I had my children stop with me I could get a discount.
My ex then stop my children stopping with me. More money for her.
The time I need to bond with them I had no money.. Paying it all to the csa.
my ex-marred again had a 3rd child told the CSA it was mine. Taken 3 years to prove it was not mine, didn’t get my money back.
my cards are always returned i.e. birthday and xmass less the money.
o-well putting it all behind me and moving on.

Just wanted to say,my husband went through similar with his ex wife and hasn't seen his oldest boys for over 6 years now. However, the ex's control freak new husband died last year, and his oldest has started chatting to him on facebook now-they are gradually rebuilding their relationship. Meanwhile his ex is trying to take him to court to have their youngest child's name changed to her dead spouse 'as a memoriam to him'. There are some bonkers pwc out there so you are certainly not alone, and you are right to keep a positive attitude about it all.Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0
