  • The irony is that Welcome were the Saviour of these people some time ago.

When all the mainstream lender were saying "No Chance, you will not repay us the money", Welcome stepped in and got them out of their desperate situation.

Welcome took the risk even though all the "proper" lenders were turning their backs.

Well, here was are a couple of years into the agreement and sure enough, the borrower has stopped repaying.

Just how evil can Welcome be to demand a return of the money lent??

We should keep these people happy and ban ALL sub prime lenders.

Never again should a person who has defaulted EVER be allowed to borrow any money. This is what happens.

It all turns back on the only lender prepared to take a risk on them.

  • I see this forum is as useful as ever. Some of you keyboard warriors really need to get a life.

I guess it makes you feel big and important to belittle posters for their spelling, grammar, general misfortune.

Very glad my issues are addressed elsewhere now and that I only pop on here to raise awareness of FirstPlus issues.

  • Wow you guys are really harsh! It's not criminal to get yourself into a pickle or to use text language on the internet.

Princessrachellucy I'd advise you to make them some sort of offer. If you are in some sort of position to pay a lump sum of any kind at the end of the loan, give it a go and see what they say.

Finding yourself in financial hardship is a serious situation and should be taken seriously.

Using text speak really does tell an awful lot about the poster, poor spelling and grammar can be put down to poor education or simple mistakes. Using Text speak simply shouts pure idleness.

Would you take serious financial advice from someone who cannot even be bothered to construct a coherent sentence??

I find posts written in text speak completely detestable.

It bothers me that someone could defend it like it is acceptable.

I immediately form this image of the poster.
