Wilkinsons are pretty good for paint and cheaper wallpaper, not bad quality either.
Also look in the bargain absement sections of the big DIY stores.
In the past I have bought wallpaper from B&Q reduced from £20.99 per roll down to £1.
Don't always have such grat deals but always worth a look.

We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................

  • If you have a Wickes store near you, they have 70% off lots of really good paint at the moment. I got loads of stuff reduced for my daughters flat. Much cheaper than B&Q. Avoid the masking tape though 4 rolls for £5 we got the same stuff in the pound shop for £1. Happy hunting.

Also check out your local 99p store, if you have one. Ours (Gloucester) currently has some reasonable wallpaper plus various paints. Probably out-of-season colours but, hey, for 99p you can't complain!
