I'm very new to this and have trawled through forums, but i was wondering if i could get some advice on the best deals on vinyl flooring, paint, wallpaper etc

Wilkinsons are pretty good for paint and cheaper wallpaper, not bad quality either.
Also look in the bargain absement sections of the big DIY stores.
In the past I have bought wallpaper from B&Q reduced from £20.99 per roll down to £1.
Don't always have such grat deals but always worth a look.
LLWe are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0 -
If you have a Wickes store near you, they have 70% off lots of really good paint at the moment. I got loads of stuff reduced for my daughters flat. Much cheaper than B&Q. focus have reduced all of there emulsion paint. its in 2.5l and 5l tins. I think they are both under £5 so true bargain........

Also check out your local 99p store, if you have one. Ours (Gloucester) currently has some reasonable wallpaper plus various paints. Probably out-of-season colours but, hey, for 99p you can't complain!0
