30th pressie for hubby whilst on holiday

I hope someone can help with this one. My hubby is 30 in April, and it falls whilst we are on holiday. We will be in Devon in a small self caternig cottage with the kids.
I thought of making him some kind of hamper with champagne, chocolates and other bits he likes, but we wouldn't be able to fit it in the car with us, and I don't want him to see it as then it wouldn't be a surprise.
Other than that I don't really have any ideas as we're pretty strapped for cash, and I can't do anything romantic really as we have 2 young kids and are staying in a one bed cottage :rotfl:It does have a hot tub in the garden though

Take a bottle of nice fizz and a couple of champagne glasses, a tub of local strawberries, and a small portable radio you could switch onto Classic FM, and spend the evening soaking in the hot tub once the kids are in bed

How about throwing a small party with the kids...

You could make up a CD/itunes list of 80's and early 90's tunes for some music.

what about some IOU's for either nice or naughty things when you get home...

you could take some balloons and blow them up and put them around the hot tub as well as some tea light candles after the kids are in bed. with some wine and chocs from a local shop so you don't have to stash them in the car.

what about baking a cake with the kids while you are there?
