just had a look, and this is not a jibe at anyone, but do people actually spend £200 on shoes/boots?? seriously is it just me that baulks at paying £50 let alone £200
or am i just mega tight fisted lol
Nope! I wouldn't either! I wouldn't buy Decker/Ugg Australia uggs full stop to be honest, totally overpriced and very few bargains to be had on them.
I did buy a couple of pairs of LFA's which where £65 and £80 each, but usually retail around the £200 mark, and they are gorgeous. Read about them online, and their sheepskin is the thickest of all the brands including Deckers and Emu, so they were worth it as I haven't had my nomads off since I got them 4 weeks ago!0 -

I've just bought another pair too for £88.99. Must stop now!
The first pair I got from here, from the bargain basement section - boots are seconds and have colourfast issues but mine have been fine after intially wearing them with socks for a few weeks have now gone barefoot and no black feet so far!

Use code Moneysavingexpert10 for £10 off too! Not sure if it's still valid.
I got my next two pairs from Daniel Footwear.

First pair got £10 off using code 'LFA' plus used a new credit card with first purchase incentive of £15 off.
2nd pair from Daniels used code 'Valentines' for 15% off.0 -

I would rather pay more for a good pair of shoes or boots, than have loads and loads of pairs of cheap ones that start to smell and fall apart.
I guess if you can afford it and see it as an investment, it's not a problem.0 -
I bought my first pair of classics 3 years ago. I live in them as they are so warm and comfy.
I have 2 older pairs I now use for walking the dog, doing the gardening and knocking around the house, and one good pair I wear for going out. I spent £100 and the oldest has lasted me 3 years with almost 7 months of constant wearing each year (sometimes more if it is chilly).
A few weeks back the oldest pair got a hole in the toe but the other old pair are going strong and I wear the holey pair around the house. The mud just falls off and you cannot tell I walk the muddy fiends in them at all. My friend was horrified when she saw me walking the dog in them.
Best thing I ever spent money on - for myself anyway. I love them. That being said I do wear a kids UK2 and so they do not cost me as much.0 -
I have chilblains on my toes and my GP recommended I get some Ugg style boots to keep my feet warm. I spent a couple of days researching the different brands and trying on different styles (classics versus cardi versus knitted) and in the end plumped for some extra tall 'Love From Australia' classic style boots from Daniel Shoes. I used the Valentine code that Katehesk posted (thanks for that) and got them for £89.99 including packaging - now waiting for them to arrive to try them out. The cheapest similar Uggs were still £160.00 on My Wardrobe using the dosucont vouchers, and in the end I felt the £70.00 difference was too much. But very much hoping that the LFA's will be good quality!0
