I got mine eventually, but this was a bit of a joke really, they should have just randomly picked winners from all the registered entries and emailed them the confirmation this morning. This would have avoided people spending hours looking at that bloody spinning circle and then not getting the tickets!
triggerhappy, have you considered the sleeper train from Glasgow? Sometimes they have bargain berths... (scotrail.co.uk)0 -

Now, just need to figure out how I'm going to get to London. Train returns are £104!
Might be worth trying to see if any Funfares available if you can cope with a long coach journey.

Cheers, but I think I'd just take the car rather than suffer a coach trip! Done it once, never again!
I'm guessing we're a bit early for the train fares, so I'll see a bit closer to the time

Yeah I was thinking of visiting friends in Glasgow in the summer and wanted to look at train prices but couldn't get anything for that far in advance.0 -
Don't blame you, never travelled that far by coach myself, well not in one trip any way. Did go to Scotland once by coach but I stopped off in Birmingham on the way there for 1 night and York for a couple of days on the way back. Was still a bit too long sitting on coaches really but very cheap way to visit some friends & family. Most of the coach tickets were only £1.triggerhappy wrote: »Cheers, but I think I'd just take the car rather than suffer a coach trip! Done it once, never again!

I was trying from 9.00 until they all went and didn't get any. Oh well, have a great time you lucky lot.0

Sounds like the site may have been crashing due to high levels of traffic. You’d think they’d have thought of this before offering the tickets.
triggerhappy have you checked the thetrainlines Best Fare Finder? I remember travelling from Liverpool to Aberdeen by coach when I was 16, had a numb bum for two weeks [slight exaggeration]!
Sorry to hear some didn’t manage to get tickets.0 -
I finally managed to get a ticket after 2 hours of watching the circle of doom! However was totally blonde (no offence to other blondes!) and didn't have my boyfriends access code so guess what I only got 1 ticket! Oh well it looks like I'm going on my own!0

Has anyone else still not had there Email?0

My confirmation came through at 5.44, so nearly 8 hours after completing the form for tickets.
Have you checked your spam/junk mail folder?0
