So it has.....wonder what happened?Do good deeds and you could raise the curtain, do good deeds and you could really raise your life....0

Not sure if someone reported it. Details of a legit company were posted by a new user so not sure if perhaps they have removed whole thing just incase anyone complains.:smileyhea0

Probably because 1) the issue has been resolved (thankfully) and 2) there was far too much personal information shared.
Granted, the person in question was (probably) a scammer, but they still have the right to privacy, and not to have their address and photograph splashed all over a forum. OK, so he did share all of that information publicly, but there's a difference between publicising your FB account so friends can find you more easily, and having it publicised against your will, along with your life story
£1 / 50p 2011 holiday flight + hotel expenses = £98.50/£600
HSBC 8% 12mth regular savings = £80 out of a maximum remaining allowance of £2500
"3 months' salary" reserve = £00 / £3600 :eek:0 -
Hi,
I would say that its been pulled because of the new uesers post with the legit companys details,
Also as the money has now been refunded it may be in the eyes of the law that no crime has been comited and so mse have pull the thred as its now all sorted and as thats guys details were all over the thred thay prob dont wont any comne back on them. I think we should jsut be very pleased that it has all been sorted for the other person and the ebay buyers. And the scamer person other will think again before he trys to pull some other scam!:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
I never got to find out how it was resolved.......
Anyone care to share??I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West

OP got a phonecall and money back.:smileyhea0
-
The Op got her money refunded in cash to her bank account following a phone call from "Sam". No further explanation was given. "I love Choclate (sic) a new user) posted full details of a perfectly innocent and unrelated company for what appears to be spurious reasons. For this company, havibng their details on a thread about a scam could have been a disaster. The thread disappeared moments after. I hope I've got that correct. I think it's a real shame the thread has gone: all that information was in the public domain - it was just collected together to help the OP.

Thats great news, I would still have loved to have read what was the actual outcome, I mean, like did they mention that they read it here, and felt guilty or they were going to pay OP anyway.
Still a great outcome all the same.
