Ok I really didn't think about this did I...

Well as Valentines is coming up I said to OH let write letters to each other saying how we feel and stuff instead of buying presents.....

Now I'm stuck on what to put apart from I love you...If you were recieving a letter from your OH, what would you want to read?
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..

If the thought of writing a letter is giving you writer's block could you not put it in a list format. A kind of "20 things I love about you" thing. You can include some funny/quirky things too. I would love that.

A few years ago I wrote 50 things I love about hubby on post-it notes and stuck them all around the house valentines morning- In his shoes, wallet, fridge, mirror everywhere. He was still finding them a few days later lol

Or find a nice poem that expresses how you feel. You could write something like 'sorry, can't find the words myself, this says how iI feel' or words to that effect. Or even have a go at writing a poem yourself. Also maybe write it out on a nice manuscript with little drawings, photos etc . Anything that is personal to you.

What! She's writing this for a bloke!

Include anything about a decent pervy night together you once had. A bit about how great he is in bed and something about what you want him to do to you in the future at some point.

Throw in a bit about how great he is with the kids and he'll be well chuffed.

You could add things in that have happened and how it made you feel. So for example, how you felt when you first saw him, your first date. And it doesn;t have to be all lovey, you could write about how nervous you were, or funny things that were said.

And then maybe future events and how you feel such as your new baby and your wedding, and want you would like to do in your old age, etc :)

My and OH have planned to buy a house, and when we retire, to sell the house and go travelling, get some motorbikes, etc :D

Maybe something about the positive effect that he has had on your life - the confidence that he has given you to do something, the support to help you through something...

How much you like a certain part of his body - I don't mean that certain part, well, maybe, that would be fine, but it might be another part!

Sounds about spot on to me. :D Although aged 18 I did write out a soppy poem in a V-Day card for my then boyfriend :o and years later know he still treasures it. I don't think his usual choice of girlfriends did that kind of thing so I was at least a novelty that didn't wear off over the years :p
