Tried to look through other threads but i think it depends on each policy...
It is a unit linked endowment though it does say at the end with profits so not sure if that makes any difference.
Provider: Legal and General
Guaranteed sum assured : £29025.00
Monthly premium: £45.98
Maturity date: 28/08/20
We are not sure whether to cash it in now or wait until it matures. We are selling our flat and we are currently in rental accomodation and won't be able to purchase another proprty for some time. The shortfall is estimated at 4/5K.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is this perhaps a combination policy, part with profits, part unit linked?
Post a bit more info
Declared bonuses (if any)
Surrender value
Maturity forecasts
Interest rate payable on mortgageTrying to keep it simple...0 -

Thanks for the reply, it's my OH's endowment we don't know the surrender value as yet but will look again through the policy documents to find out the maturity forecasts and if any bonuses are applicable....We'll also dig out the mortgage documents to find out the interest rate....0 -
You will probably need to phone the providers to get up to date figures.Trying to keep it simple...0
