I tried to sign up a few years ago and it did seem good however I couldnt commit to what they wanted from me.
I had to be available to do parties in quite a large area and as I dont drive I found that hard lugging large amounts of samples and a clothing rack !!
They also wanted me to attend monthly meetings that were a 40 minute train ride away and didnt finish til late at night so I didnt think it was safe.
They may have changed so its worth applying and getting a sales leader to come to your house and explain.

My mrs did it for 2 months then gave up.
She also had to attend a meeting every month. For the amount of fuel & time she had to put into it (after a 36 hour job aswell) was a little too much.
The main ways you earn income is :
Do a raffle (Spend around £10 to buy cheap items from ann summers) charge everyone £1 a ticket, and hope you get enough.
Other one is you buy the persons order in at 30% discount, and normally sell it on with a 10% discount to the customer, so you make 20% on all the orders.
Then you have all your business cards to buy, games to plan it was just too much for her!0
