hi
currently seeking prices for 31 double glazed windows for a new build, baskil seem to be the cheapest, have been told by several people that their quality of windows is not good.
Has anyone any experience of them and if so what are your views-any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks

Hi
I started this thread here about other suppliers as I'm also doing an new build
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2954812
but no mention of Baskil til I read yours. Might not bother with them how.
Hope this helps
UPDATE: I've just seen the sample windows from Baskil. Not impressed. Moreover, they do not do self-cleaning glass.0 -
Our builder used them, they all were scratched, had paint missing off the frames and that was before we completed on the sale. Oh it's a new build. We're in a year now and it's the first thing I'd change if we had the money

Had our baskil windows since new build in 1996 - there are a few blemishes and handles are tarnished. BUT we have painted them every two years and they are still doing the job they are meant to - keeping the rain and wind out..... and can I add ........... they were fitted BEFORE the roof was put on ..... typical NI builder ..0
