Hi All
I have lots of baby items (clothes, toys, bottles etc) that i no longer need and was planning on selling them at a nearly new sale.
The only sales i can find are for the NCT and they take 30% of any money you make and you can't sell the items yourself. You price everything up and drop it off to them on the morning of the sale and collect any unsold items later in the day.
Can anyone tell me of any nearly new sales coming up in Hampshire prefereably around Southampton, but willing to travel a small distance.
Thanks

Hi although the NCT do the type of sale you describe they also do table top sales and there is a Nearly New Sale Finder on their site. You pay a flat fee for a table and sell your own stuff. The last one I did the fee was £12.50. There are also loads of tips on the site of what to take and what not to take. Good luck other than that look for an indoor table top sale (which is what I need to sell loads of toys in excellent condition) If you find one post me I am in Southampton too!0

HI.
Have you been to one of TEDS toy sales? They accept donations of all toys, games, clothes and all outgrown, unused childrens and baby items and nursery stuff, an excellent way of getting rid of the kids clobber! They invite you to vote for who you want them to give a donation of money to and are always in our local papers giving money to local charities. The great thing about these sales too is that everything is arranged in order, so all clothes are in size order, all the books in one area, all the baby things and so on, so not like a mass jumble sale like some of the smaller nct sales are! Also, if you pre-arrange with them they can collect larger bits directly from you or you can take a bag of toys to their sales and they give you vouchers so you can spend them that day - so you get money back for bringing in unwanted toys - great for the kids as they cleared out their rooms knowing they were going to get money off buying new things!
They have a website with details of there sales and what they do so have a look at that. They seem very nice and well organized so sure they can do something for you! IT's TEDS for toy exchange and donate scheme - good luck!0 -
Probably a bit further afield than you were thinking but this company does quite a lot http://www.babyandchildrensmarket.co.uk/0
