Clubcard ( Tesco ) Vouchers

Hey,

I recently got a Tesco Credit Card in the hope of using the interest free facility til September and also adding up quite a few Clubcard points in the process.

However, I am quite baffled. I know I can earn 4 points for every £1 I spend on the card, but how much do I have to actually spend to get anything back !!!

For example, I was hoping to turn the points I have in to club card deals and put them towards a hotel in London - but how much will I need to spend ???

Sorry for not being very clear, but the website just confused me !!!

Well 100 points = £1 clubcard voucher!, easy to do the maths!

Points are acrued on a minimum spend of £1 in-store I think.

Credit card: 5 points for every £4 you spend at Tesco or Tesco.com and 1 point for every £4 you spend everywhere else.

Clubcard=100 points is £1

Using deals a clubcard £1 is worth £4.

Be warned the hotels only accept full price bookings if you use vouchers. So if the listed room rate is £125 you will need £31.25 in clubcard vouchers.

You need to go onto the tesco website, then the clubcard section, then the deals section.

On each deal there is a user guide for each offer.

Generally you can;t just get quotes online fo rstaying at hotels, you have to ring a special tesco bookings number to get a quote.


An example for days out would be that Alton Toweras costs £7.37 in Tesco vouchers. That means you need to spend £737 in Tesco, or if you are are using special offers, codes for online shopping (found on here), signing up to services like home phone or life insurance, and the tesco credit card you can rack up very high points balances fairly quickly.

Basically look at each deal ont he website, and follow each individual instruction of how to order. Don;t rely ont he standard company website being the same price, because you can rarely get web special offers using clubcard deals, and sometimes it seems the companies deliberately bump up the price to people using clubcard deals.

Clubcard + ( if they still allow sign up) gives 2 points per £1 spent

i can recommend the marriott at canary wharf. it is a cut above and a fantastic area to stay. phone marriot directly and ask for the tesco deals rate. you should be able to get £90 per night, per room + vat at weekends, min two night stay. £53 worth of vouchers converted will pay for a weekend for two.
