When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D

Goooood morning;)
Hooray, it's the last day of term for my 2 today....both got Inset tomorrow so bring on the lie-ins:p (If anyone else wants to start the thread feel free....I won't be here at 7ish I doubt!)
Going to stay in and make the most of my last quiet day today...do some work and wait for the electricial coming to look at the ropey shower.

Hope all well today - hugs all round:A
Ok, list for today:
  • check banking....move tax credits to spends account
  • daily scratch
  • packed lunches for girls
  • NSD hopefully
  • get Next returns ready to go back (when the guy drops off my new delivery, sale stuff stil appearing online...ooooops:o)
  • meal from plan tonight - jacket pots and chicken
  • uni work....reading for the darn essay;)
Ok, that's all for now - have a great day everyone:beer:
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!
  • Hi Everyone, hope all ok, ((hugs)) to those who need them

Sorry not posted much recently, just seemed to have been busy doing nothing.

    Today I have
Taken dh to work at silly o'clock so I could have car today.
Taken ds to sports course, on way to JTF to buy my cleaning stuff and styrofoam cups for meeting tomorrow.
Had coffee with friend whose dh is in hospital
    Had lunch form store cupboard
    Will have dinner from cupboard/freezer
Looked at Tesco reward, think a meal out would be nice:)
Going to clean bathroom and dust bedrooms in a minute, not mse but necessary
Take ds to guitar lessons and pick dh up from work
Post sil birthday card (10p from cheap card shop:o) she won't know will she..... It is a very pretty card. (she lives away:o)
    Fill out college course application
    Check online banking

Think that will do me for today.

Maybe back later for a browse:D
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly
