Lopsided loaf

Hello all
I wondered if any bread bakers out there have any suggestions for how I can stop my loaves of bread turning out lopsided?
I used to make my bread by hand but alas, carpal tunnel currently prevents me so I now use my kenwood chef for making the dough and then give it as much of a knead as I can manage at the end.
When I do my 2nd rising in the tin, I always make the dough as even as possible in the tin and it also rises pretty evenly as well but when it comes out of the oven, it's always lopsided and bigger at one side.
This happened in my old gas oven and in my new electric fan oven.
Does anyone have any tips for me please? The only reason it bothers me is having slices of bread at one end that look like those silly half loaves you can buy, and normal sized ones at the other.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks all x

Hi there
Try cutting a slash length ways into the dough just before it goes in the oven -about 1/2" deep should do it... then the loaf "should" bake evenly...hope it helps-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
I find that the back of my oven (even though it's a fan oven) is hotter than the front, so things cook unevenly. I turn the bread halfway through cooking.0

Thanks guys, I'll give the slash thing a try and see if it works.0
