Not the best credit and need a mortgage....help!

    Santanter would be last on the list as they are exceptionaly difficult to deal with now, and have this habit of agreeing a case in principle then declining it later, plus if they dont get outstanding info within 8 days. Now in theory that sounds simple, but trust me it is'nt. What if for example you need a letter from the company that bought about the ccj - these can take weeks, but Abbey cancel the case off the system if not recieved within the 8 days and each time a re - application is required.

    I think you need a small specialist building society for this, there are 2 in particular. Be aware that not all brokers know / are registered with these small lenders.

    They will expect the debts to have been cleared though.
